"THE COMMITTEE ON NUTRITION of the Preschool Child,sponsored by the Food and Nutrition Board of the National Academy of Sciences, recently recommended that services in family planning programs be expanded to include dietary assessment and nutrition counseling (1).
This recommendation reflects the Committee's recognition that some clients of family planning services may be vulnerable to nutrition problems. "
